Samsung Expected to Open Pre-Reservations for New Foldables and Galaxy Watches

Samsung is expected to launch its pre-reservation campaign for its next-generation foldable smartphones and smartwatches starting July 8, according to well-known leaker Abhishek Yadav.

The reported timeline aligns with Samsung’s typical launch strategy, as the company usually opens pre-reservations roughly two weeks before officially unveiling its latest Galaxy devices. Samsung has already hinted that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 22, adding credibility to the latest reports.

Foldable Lineup Expected to Join the Campaign

The upcoming pre-reservation program is expected to include Samsung’s next foldable devices:

  • Galaxy Z Fold8
  • Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Flip8

The campaign is also expected to cover the company’s next-generation Galaxy Watch smartwatches.

Latest Chipset Details

Samsung has recently confirmed that both the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy platform.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is expected to feature Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor in Europe and South Korea, while other global markets are expected to receive Snapdragon-powered variants.

Leaks also suggest that the upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra2 will debut with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset, promising improved performance and efficiency for Samsung’s flagship wearable.

What Pre-Reservations Typically Offer

Samsung’s pre-reservation program does not usually allow customers to purchase devices immediately.

Instead, it enables users to register their interest ahead of launch, receive notifications when pre-orders officially begin, and qualify for exclusive promotional offers, including discounts, bonus trade-in values, or other launch incentives depending on the region.

Vexiora Analysis

Samsung continues to rely on its established launch strategy by opening pre-reservations ahead of its flagship announcements, helping generate early consumer interest while giving customers access to exclusive launch incentives.

With upgraded processors across both the foldable smartphone lineup and Galaxy Watch series, the upcoming Galaxy ecosystem appears focused on delivering higher performance alongside tighter integration between mobile devices and wearables. If current leaks prove accurate, Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event could represent one of the company’s most significant hardware launches of the year.
