Lenovo has begun teasing a new compact gaming tablet, signaling the arrival of a successor to the Legion Y700 Gen 5 with several notable hardware upgrades. Earlier in 2026, the company introduced the flagship Legion Y700 Gen 5 in China without cellular connectivity, but the upcoming model is expected to address that limitation while introducing a more compact design.

One of the biggest confirmed upgrades is the inclusion of an OLED display, replacing the IPS panel used in the previous generation. Lenovo has also officially confirmed that the new gaming tablet will feature full 5G connectivity, making it one of the company’s most advanced portable gaming devices.
